| Fantom Drives has added 10 GB ($300) and 16.2 GB ($460) models to its line of USB hard drives. Due soon from Fantom is a 640 MB USB magneto optical drive.
Mactell announced reduced prices on its line of FirePower FireDrive hard drives, as well as several new models, including 10.8-, 13.5-, 18.0-, 22.0-, and 25.0-GB capacity drives. The drives range from $350 for 8.4 GB (5400 rpm) to $700 for 22-GB (7200 rpm).
